Who Is Trudy?
In a nutshell - I'm simply a woman who loves life. I'm also passionate about encouraging and supporting other human beings to find the same love for their lives.
Like you, I've experienced life wide and deep. A diagnosis of terminal cancer, now totally cleared, preceeded by recovery from alcohol addiction, and years of years of zero self-esteem, for a long time living a 'confident' life on the outside, while feeling crumpled and small on the inside - have all helped me become who I am today. Far from perfect, I hasten to add! But at least willing to accept responsibility for my choices, create 'space' for my needs, and say what I think. Liberating, to say the least.
After the full recovery from cancer, I finally took on board the lessons that life had been sending me. And I began to live life in a more authentic, simple way. In June 2001 I began training as a coach, bringing together years of experience as a complementary therapist with new, exciting, life-changing skills.
As a coach, trainer and dynamic speaker, I assist vibrant, intelligent, healthy professional and energetic people, particularly women, to realise, make and maintain the changes they want to make in their lives, in an affordable and effective way, without fuss, stress or bother.
I work with my clients in many different ways - 1:1 coaching, group/team coaching, teleclasses, training & workshops and Conversation Cafes.
I'm passionate about my work and about communicating how easy and simple it can be to create powerful effective in life, work, career and business. I've had the joy of speaking at several private and public events. One of proudest moments was to share the platform with Terry Waite, with an audience of 1,500 people, on behalf of Ulster Cancer Foundation.
I've appeared on BBC, UTV and RTE television and have also featured on Radio Four Women's Hour, as well as several other national and local radio programmes.
